Coastal Gifts has been a popular gift store in Bar Harbor, Maine for over 30 years. Owned by Amanda Clarke, the shop is known for featuring unique, locally-made gifts and souvenirs. Coastal Gifts quickly became a must-stop shop for tourists visiting Acadia National Park.

When the recession hit in 2008, Amanda struggled to keep up with inventory, payroll, and other expenses as tourism declined. She resisted the urge to stock lower quality, mass-produced items.

In 2011, Amanda learned about Line of Credit Depot through a direct mail advertisement. She applied and was approved for a $35,000 line of credit tailored to Coastal Gifts' needs.

Amanda used the financing to stock up on inventory from local artists, make overdue utility payments, and refresh dated store displays. With this financial cushion, Coastal Gifts survived the economic downturn.

Today, Coastal Gifts is thriving once again as Acadia National Park visitation rebounded. Amanda feels confident knowing she can access additional funds from Line of Credit Depot if necessary. She credits their customizable financing with helping Coastal Gifts endure even during tough times.
